LOVE - meaning
The Prophet SAWS said: "When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him." [Abu Daawood and At-Tirmithi]
Love in Islam is all-encompassing, comprehensive and sublime. There is love for Allah The Almighty, the Messenger of Allah, Sallallaahu `Alayhi Wa Sallam, the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and the love for people and the animal. There is love for the religion of Islam, as well as other forms of love.
In a world full of anger, hate and judgment Love is the response. Love, kindness and compassion.
Whenever you act with love you'll feel at peace and your heart will be filled with joy.
COMPASSION - meaning
“Show compassion to those in the earth, the One in the Heaven (Allah) will show compassion to you” (At-Tabarani and Al-Hakim)
Compassion is a deep feeling of sympathy for someone who is suffering. It’s not just an emotion – Compassion is accompanied by a strong desire to take action and alleviate the suffering of human beings and animals. God has created us to thrive on this planet and live in peace.
Be compassionate and let the mercy of Allah fill your heart with joy.
FORGIVENESS - meaning
The Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: “Be merciful to others and you will receive mercy. Forgive others and Allah will forgive you” (Musnad Ahmad).
Forgiveness is letting go of the need for revenge and releasing negative thoughts of bitterness and resentment. Forgiving and letting go can be very difficult challenges, but it’s even more stressful to hold on to grudges. Hate and anger are both time and energy-consuming.
We pass our precious time thinking about negative things raising anger and anxiety inside us.
If you forgive you'll let go of this negativity and you will be happier.
