I don’t know how old you are but do you already know how to find your why? Because a WHY can change your world but also make you a happier artist.
You may wonder WHY I am writing this blog post, HA!
The truth is that you need a WHY, something that keeps you pushing, to make things work in life.
You need a reason, an answer, or even a question, to help you stick to your goals.
Having a purpose in life is essential.
It provides clarity, infuses you with passion and helps you live healthier and longer.
MY EXPERIENCE
I’m going to be honest with you. Sometimes I feel so stressed and frustrated (yeah I know I sound like Jessica Simpson). Sometimes the amount of things to do to see my goals become a reality is just too much.
Without mentioning real-life things such as family, friends, house-chores, etc
However, since I started studying and creating Islamic geometry, my whole mood changed.
It doesn’t matter if I went to sleep at 3 am the night (or morning) before. I wake up happy because I know that I will draw or paint that day.
I huge help comes from my lifestyle as well. Eating healthy, exercise, and sun exposure are life-changing, but all of that would be very boring without my art.
WHY SHARE?
A WHY is useless if it’s something that affects only you. As humans, we tend to create a community and share our passions.
If you are happy about what you do, you will want to share it with the people you love, and even with the people you don’t know (like on Instagram).
All of a sudden, you will find very empowering and satisfying helping others learn about the things you do.
By the way, if you need help with Instagram I have written a whole blog post about it here.
A simple WHY can change a whole nation or even the world (just think about Martin Luther King or Gandhi)
I know, you are not Gandhi nor Martin Luther King. But who knows? Your real power is right there inside of you, and maybe you are not even aware of it.
HOW CAN YOU FIND YOUR WHY?
- Think about the activities you did that made you forget about the passage of time.
- What would you do for free just because it makes you happy?
- What would you be willing to go the extra mile for?
- Is there anything you would do if you knew you only had a year left to live?
- What is usually the reason why people come to you for help?
Reply to these simple yet complex questions.
Write your answers down. It might not be easy to understand, and it might take time, but once you find your WHY your whole life is going to change.
How to Find Your WHY
November 12, 2020
What an amazing blog post – again! ❤️ I feel what you‘re meaning with the why and I would probably add one more question that helped me:
What would you do if you had anything to loose?
